Wounded Arizona military vets sought for 9-day wilderness expedition

Wounded military veterans in Arizona, Southern California, New Mexico and Texas can now apply for the fourth annual No Barriers Warriors Veteran Wilderness Expedition, funded by defense contractor Raytheon Co.

  • Aug. 16:         Arrive in Jackson, Wyoming and drive to Dubois
  • Aug. 16-20:  Begin expedition
  • Aug. 21:         Summit attempt and solar eclipse
  • Aug. 22-23:  Hike out
  • Aug. 24:        Final trek to trailhead, followed by team dinner
  • Aug. 25:        Depart early morning
