Candice Muir worked as a signal support systems specialist in the Army National Guard. She was responsible for battlefield signal support systems and terminal devices, which help direct troop movement.
Muir feels that her anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder have been holding her back from living a full life. While she loves the outdoors, she finds it difficult to step outside of her comfort zone and explore the world in a meaningful way.
Muir believes the expedition will offer an opportunity to recharge and connect with like-minded people. She’s excited to try new things and reach beyond her comfort zone to find what is real.
