Jeremy Spruce graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 2006, commissioning in the Signal Corps. He held multiple positions, including signal platoon leader, executive officer and company commander. He deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. After separating from the military, Spruce worked as an instructor at West Point. Today, he is a test engineering manager at Raytheon.
After leaving the military, Spruce struggled to find motivation. Through the expedition, he hopes to reconnect with his physical drive and find a proactive way to manage his stress and emotions. Spruce finds that being active helps his mental energy. He looks forward to learning new ways to connect with those around him, and to defining a purpose that will inspire him to give his best back to the world.
