Join the Walk with the Warriors Tucson Community Hike, Oct.17

Raytheon Missile Systems is proud to sponsor the upcoming No Barriers Grand Canyon Veteran Wilderness Expedition, Oct. 12–21. This expedition will give 13 wounded veterans the opportunity to embark on a 10-day journey of discovery, challenge and adventure, where they will support one another to rebuild confidence and live full lives.

RMS employees and community members can support these veterans by walking in their honor at the Walk with the Warriors Tucson Community Hike at Old Tucson Studios on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Join us for some outdoor fun and participate in this 5K walk in Tucson, as the RMS-sponsored veterans trek through the Grand Canyon. Let’s show our support to these courageous and resilient veterans, and let them know that they are not walking alone.

For registration and more information, visit https://www.crowdrise.com/TucsonWalk2015.

This is a family-friendly event. A free western-style barbecue lunch, water and giveaways will be provided for all attendees. Following the event, registered attendees will also be able to enjoy the Old Tucson theme park at no extra cost.

At the event, look for the No Barriers table to learn more about the Veteran Wilderness Expedition, its participants, and other opportunities to support No Barriers USA.

“We are committed to our warfighters, both on and off the battlefield,” said RMS President Taylor W. Lawrence. “Contributing to the well-being and long-term development of these men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country is something I am personally passionate about.”
